Hello ALL

Lets give "Blue Zoo Aquatics"...and 2nd chance!!

Before anything, I am aware of the recent GB that took place a couple of weeks ago organized by, Cynthia. Reading from the GB thread feedback, there were a few incomplete orders and D.O.A.

I was a little reluctant to place an order and had spoken to Cynthia poor girl, she was so fustrated. Great job she did!

However, since this was the first GB with Blue Zoo Aquatics on MR, and looking at there prices, and since I've missed Cynthis GB. I was in need to buy a cleaning crew package for my 90G, among other items.

Here what my order placed consisted of:
(1) Algae Clean-Up Crew - Various, 75Gallon
(1) Lawnmower Blenny
(1) Sea Hare
(2) Harlequin Shrimp

total $141.31 including the shipping

I had placed this order the week before Christmas, since Blue Zoo Aquatics, was doing there first delivery after Christmas on Dec 27th.

Today, I was suppose to get my shipment. 1PM in the afternoon I contacted Mike, I had introduce myself and made it known that I am a current member of MR. In our conversation, I had made it clear that I was not happy or satisfied with the service. I understood, that because of the holidays and that he or Blue Zoo Aquatics does not have control over shipping.

My point was communication, a phone call or e-mail it takes a second, a minute the most. After talking for about 45 minutes with Mike, I had realized we are human, the are errors to be made, under any circumstances.

These guys want to make it right with MR and they honestly want the opportunity to earn our business. I'm sure each of you have forgiven worst! My understanding there was a refund. They are not a big operation. Getting 30 orders out is what they are use to, with the holidays the numbers were 50+

As a result from this 45 minute conversation with Mike....they are shipping my order complete to be received tomorrow. And the owner is crediting me the total $141.31 So, this order is a gift!!

They have my business! I hope they have your business! Next GB....you started it or I and they promise to stay on top of it!!

Mike....thanks!

I think I see the confusion, Johnny's order he placed did not arrive today, thus BLue Zoo credited the entire order. Please correct me if this is wrong.

I have to agree with giving the business to a local vendor, even if they cost a slight bit more. The local vendors are the ones on the forums that are trying to help us all out. We know that they will work with us for any situation if they can. This is not a bash on any other company, but lets support the people who support us!

I kinda got a chuckle from that. I know what you are talking about, but everything is shipped in from collection zones. Most corals come through California, inverts from Florida. But, I think you mean that the LFS will have to ship it in and take care of it, and worry about DOA's. I agree with you, unless you can get it the right way.
