How do I put a picture in a thread w/out uploading it first?

I always have trouble w/ uploading pictures on this site. Sometimes they are to large, sometimes it says invalid file/path.
I just want to click and drag/drop. Is that possible???

If you upload to another server like photo bucket or something similar you should be able to insert it in your thread no problem.


Surround the Imag address with these tags

I think that it is easiest to use www.photobucket.com what this also does is saves space on the MR server for the site....

But you need to resize the pictures to a max size of 1024X768.
Then you just use the tags that photobucket supplies the (IMG tags) and just paste it into the body of your post.

To resize images you need to usually use an external program. And the big programs like Photoshop are not necessary.

I recommend using IRFANVIEW http://www.irfanview.com/

That program is pretty powerful for a TOTALLY FREE program.

You can batch resize photos in a few seconds, vs having to open each one individually. pretty easy to use.

If u r not uploading to MR, you can use any image in any location...Whether u storing your pics in photobucket...(i use it, its GOOD)...Or u have it on a friends server,

As long as u know the image location just paste it into

HAHAH, i know what you are talking about, but i think that you are going to confuse people with that. He wants to drag and drop and have it work, and you are tellling him about friends servers and stuff LOL..

Stick with an image storage server, like photobucket (i recommend them, cause that is what i use, uploading images are very easy)
