T-5 bulb replacement

Hi everyone,

Was curious, when do I need to change out my T-5 bulbs from my tek lighting system, aside from the obivious that the bulb is out. My acitnics run 12 hours a day, and daylights 6-8. Depends on how much hot my tank gets. Looking for a general rule of thumb. Tank is mostly ricordia, mushrooms, leather and a couple of zoos.

The leathers are the most the demanding of light of the bunch you have.8 to 10 hours of daylight is about right.

I think the bulbs are good for a year.

I Agree A year is good to replace them

I normally change out my actinics every 12 months. All the other bulbs I change out at about 14 months.

agreed with russ, antics dont last as long, and most manufactures say 18 months though. what bulbs are you using ?
