I'm moving up to a 40g Breeder that I'm getting from Ink and the tank is drilled. I don't want to deal with a sump so I figure I could use the already drilled holes for a closed loop to keep the tank looking cleaner and less cluttered.

I believe theres a 1 inch hole for what would have been the drain and I was thinking of using that for the intake and a 3/4in for the return. I was thinking to connect the pump the both of these and have the 3/4inch split with locline to give two or three out puts.

Do you guys think a mag 7 would do the job, along with a tunze nano 6025?

Looking at the tank I'm getting are the holes even suitable for a closed loop?
