I cant get a good picture, but...
They appear to be little white worms that curl up(into a overlapping circle as they get bigger) on the glass and black back
I thought they were flat worms..... I dont think so now, after looking at pics on here.
Any ideas? Ill try to get a pic up at somepoint if I can get a clearone.

they could be a bunch of things, none of them bad.

baby snails, or little tube worms, it's all good it means the tank is maturing :)

no mandarins don't eat flatworms that I know of.

don't dose the tank with meds, unless it's absolutely necessary.

Dude, what you have from the sounds of it like a type of tiny tube worm, they are harmless filter feeders. Don't medicate anything unless you are sure what it is. If the thing lives in a spiral white calcified tube on glass and have a little tuff of hair coming out of the shell opening, then you don't need to do anything.

phil you have filter feeders on the backing. Nothing you should panic about. Just to let you guys know the flatworms are in his fuge. Its also full of pods. phil maybe you didnt actually see what I was talking about as far as flatworms but they typically look like this:

I do recommend flatworm exit, if not a sixline....

alex,
I now see what you were talking about. I thought the filterfeeding worms were the problem. Then I saw the flat worms, I understand what you are alking about, I figured it out just after opening the thread-should I not be sticking my hand into the ref b/c of flatworms? Can I get "them"?
Im just a over anxious Jew, we get worried easily
