Why is this happening? In the front left corner of the tank, the coralline is browning out. I don't get it. this is the only area of the tank where it's happening. ideas?

change in water chemistry, not enough water flow in that area, light not sufficiently getting to that area. FYI just throwing out some ideas, not saying those are the causes.

urchins, certain snails, .... thats all i can think of at this moment. i think some fish too but those would have to be pretty large and you would notice the huge bite marks in the rocks.

Ok so going back to the first two replies it's highly likely it's a low or too much flow issue, did you change the power head configuration before the coralline started turning brown?
Or better what were some of the changes that took place prior to the algae turning brown.
