Remora Pro not skimming

Just did a 10% water change, and added a maxijet 1200 for additional flow in the tank, but now the remora can't skim enough, nothing is being collected.

Does the amount of flow and water movement in the tank affect the performance of the HOB skimmer? Thanks,

Just might not be enough dissolved organics in the water. especially after a water change.
Oh but question though, was it skimming before you did the water change?

Even though my tank is not heavily stocked, it was skimming before I did the 10% water change...

Sounds like it's right on the money with KD's theory, if it doesn't start skimming in the next few days then take it apart and clean the heck out of it and try again.
