on the outlet section the blue is on top and the orange is under and plus the waste runs more faster and more consistent than the ro water on mines
what you can also do is search the type of ro unit and there should be diagrams for it good luck

water from the tap--->first sediment membrane--->gac block(or granular activated carbon)--->ro membrane 25,50,75,100,125)--->ro membrain out 2 ways:::1-drain (bad water):::2-ro (pure water)....(((the 1 leaking fast is the drain)))

Just look through the hose...

I have the coralife unit. It was said correct. The one dripping slow is the good water. Mine is setup as the blue line don't go by the color go by drip rate. If you did get it second hand i would recommend getting new filter and membrane. Just call local fish store and ask them if the can test your tds of your r/o water and that will determine if you need new filters/membrane. Also the coralife unit i have didn't come with a di unit, you could order the unit and attach it to your r/o then u will have ro/di unit, fyi. Also you can just order another brand di unit and attach it, just make sure u have the correct fittings.
