I have a question for all Reef Crystal users.I know that there has been problems recently with certain batch numbers and don't know if this related because the salt was ordered earlier this year.
My question is whether anybody has experienced this same problem.I've noticed that there is always about a tablespoon full of salt that doesn't mix.I never had this problem when I used regular IO.This is my second bucket and both have different batch #'s.I even went out and bought a 10 gallon mix which as you know comes in a box and had the same problem.I highly doubt this happens with other mixes.I mix my salt with ro/di water in a rubbermaid bucket with a heater(temp around 78-79) and powerhead for 24 hours prior to use.
Can someone tell me why this is happening?I'm ready to switch brands.
