HHHEEEYYY wait a minute with the buy 1 get 1 free deal its cheaper to buy the individual components of a cleaner pack than it is to buy it as a pack! Except they have no Nassarius or Dwarf Planaxis Snails.

We got the Nassarius snails, I just added more to the inventory. We are out of the Planaxis snails though, was able to squeeze a few more for a couple of diverse packs, but they are out completely now. Cloud got the last. I found it through google, this site updates very quickly in their database, even reefcentral's thread is still not in Google, and it was first I guess.

Your right about that, not too much difference though. The cleaner packs were made before we changed around the prices, so they are a bit more expensive because of certain price changes. We will reprice the cleaner packs next week, and they will revert back to being cheaper.

Trying to find something that will go after hydroids and I seem to remember reading someone having some success with limpets.

Shipping is 24.95 with Express Mail, and $11 with Priority, but there are extra risks because the longer travel. To a colder place like NY, I would go with Express. The prices for shipping come up in the checkout area.

Hello I just bought some items. I am very interested in any feedback from folks in this group about Mangroves. Your website has very good information on them and I am intrigued.

Are they that good at nutrient export?

Sorry, you feel that way about the size of the snails. Which snails do you feel were too small? Were they at least the size estimated in our item description? If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

The nassarius snails are ok, but those ceriths are really tiny.

Yes my snails were tiny too..and they seem to climb out of the water too. I thought it was just the shipping bag water, but in the tank and fuge too.
One thing is: USPS Express Mail is not necessarily that unfortunately...from Jupiter FL to NY was two days. USPS copped out by saying MOST places its one day.
Mangroves were great. Tritons did not make it unfortunately in the two day delivery route. Weather was in the 50's in NY those two days...oh well.....The Limpets were mostly fine.


I would recommend NY Aquatics the next time. Michael is local in New Rochelle NY and his snails etc are really nice and big too. (I think his name is Michael-I called him Steve the other day...sorry)
