so I moved to a new house 2 weeks ago and this week have been putting in all the finishing touches on my tanks. On my 75g FOWLR I have about 100 pounds of live sand, and roughly 150 pounds of live rock.
My sump must have cracked in the move and leaked water everywhere. I broke the syphon, and drained the sump, but I cannot seem to get the sump out from under the tank (its too big to be removed without draining the main tank and removing it from the top of the stand)
Do you guys think that running a sump on a FOWLR is really necessary? The only things I had running in the sump was a 15w UV and a phosban reactor. I have an aqua c remora pro (mag 3) running with 2 powerheads in the tank atm. ShouldI get maybe a hang on emperor to help collect particles and call it a day? Maybe figure out a way to get the uv running and ditch the phosban reactor????
What do you guys think I should do???:help:
