Soo I've got this sexy RBTA and about a week ago, maybe a little more, i noticed a stray tentacle in the tentacles of my Torch. Thought nothing of it as the RBTA looks sexy as ever. Now I notice another dropped tentacle, whats up with this?

And i'm sure its another cause the tentacle from last week is still on the sand in the back of the tank, sometimes inflates, sometimes it looks dead. So now I have two of these.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Anemone looks great, tank looks great, everything is 100% fine yet it dropped another tentacle today.

Am I going to end up with a "naked" anemone? This anemone eats everything that goes in the tank, is very active so to speak, anything that floats by it grabs.

The tentacles that fall off all settle in the tank and go no where, they seem alive, but aren't inflated.

I just happened to see a tentacle floating around still inflated, any and i mean ANY input is appreciated.

Budding? Are the tentacles growing and this is some form of asexual reproduction.

I like the optimistic approach to this, maybe it is budding and I'll jst have to wait and see. As far as i can see there are 4 tentacles around the tank. All settled in a low flow corner near the anemone.

Only thing about this approach is how would it develop a mouth and all the things necessary for it to live.
