small white dots

i have a 12g ap about 2 -months old any way every day i notice small white dots maybe they have some legs around the side a tiny star i cant get a good pic cause they are tiny ? anyone know what this might be

You're describing Staurocladia oahuensis, not amphipods.

I'd say they are bad... They eat pods....That makes them bad in my book, save my pods for everything else.

Those guys are crazy, yesterday I had none(at least I didn't see any)today when the lights went on I could notice them just by passing the tank,the glass is covered with em,and now pods for the first time in the main tank,maybe it has to do with my cleaner shrmp releasing her eggs and the pods are actually tiny cleaners:scratchch
