is PVC cement safe in fish tank?

I used PVC glue on a cracked tunxe 6045, its currently not in tank but would like to put it in. I used it because it works so well on my bulkheads, but that doesnt come in direct contact with flow. So, is it safe to use inside a soon to be reef?

Never had an issue with using PVC glue quickly in a fish tank. But weld-on or acrylic glue you should wait a while if using it.

PVC glue soldifys on cantact with water. I accidentally dripped some into a bucket of water and it basically hit the surface and became a solid translucent piece of pvc.
