was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.i currentlly have a 55g reef,mixed sps,lps,clams and a few fish iam getting a 90g so im looking to swap my 55 into the 90 what will be the best way to do this without shocking the system to much?do i use the same sand and just add more?or should i go bare bottom?ect.thanks

Congrats on going for an upgrade! :) A 90 is a nice sized tank!

The first question would be ..how old is the sand you have in the tank now?
As far as DSB, SSB or bare bottom..that's a personal choice. Best to look at pics of other tanks..or home visits.. and see what you think.
If you have any wrasses that bury at night, or gobies, or plan on having them in the future then you'll need to keep a sandbed.
