Sea Hare Questions

So i bought a sea hare to combat the hair algae in my frag tank. I placed it on one of my eggcrate frag racks last night and today i haven't seen it at all once. So here's the question does it like to hide during the day or something? And where would it hide?
Another question about the habits of a sea hare, does it ever go on the glass to clean off the algae, or does it only really try to stay near rocks or something?

Mine definitly did but it's dissappeared now and i have no clue where it went. Made a huge dent in the algae on the frag rack.

The larger one will eat hair algae the smaller ones usually don't. Mine only comes out when the lights are off or the Actinic are just on. It usually eat algae off of the glass and so far after 2 weeks none of the hair algae.

mine ate all my hair algae, hides all day and only comes out 2 hours after all my lights turn off :snail:

Sometimes they will blend in with the rock.

Sea Hare

My eats 24/7. Alway seen. It usually seen on live rock but sometimes on the glass. But it doesn't clean the algae off that well. A turbo snail does a much better job. Man! does it **** alot. As far as hair algae I don't know. I never had it in my tank.

I got my sea hare from WWOF.
But i feel better that it is still alive today, as i saw a new clustering of poop in the hair algae that i saw near the sea hare a couple of hours after i put it in. Probably hiding under a rock that i can't quite see.
