i fed my rose anemone a piece of shrimp they sell in a bag in the supermarket,would this cause any problems? is it a bad idea?

I use supermarket shrimp all the time. Although I get weird looks when I ask for 3-4 pieces of shrimp. Just make sure that is is not cooked.

Be careful
With preservatives. I purchased a very very healthy Magnifica anemone. In a tank for 3 - 4 months eating well and all.
I went to a shoprite in jersey and explicitly asked the counter man if they used any preservatives in their shrimp or are they fresh. LOL
He said no preservatives sir.
Took the shrimp home, cut a peice, fed it to the anemone and one day later i noticed the nem looked bad. Two days later it was completely fried.
The shrimp they gave me was previously frozen twice and give preservatives. Thats why i stick to fresh seafood and food mad especially for reef tanks.
