where to get these...

just wanted to know if there's a place in the city i could get these insert fittings, and some 1" and 3/4" tubing to go along with them. thanks.

Check Home Depot they carry all kinds of fittings and pipes. They also carry a large selection of hoses and they're alot cheapier than buying it from a LFS/On-line place.

the 2 HDs in flushing don't have these fittings. and if they do, i couldn't find it and the idiots that work there might as well go back to sleep.

If you look around in the area where they have the PVC you should see them. I purchased a couple of elbows and connects and thoses type fittings where in the same area. I found them at the HD in LIC but the 2 in Flushing should have them I would think.

yea, i was looking for about 45 mins b4 i finally got fed up. they did have the 90 elbow with the insert fitting, but it only came in 2". the guy said they only had it b/c someone return it, and that they don't carry it anymore. but thanks for the tips on the LIC HD, i'll check there tomorrow. the guy also said the long island HDs carry those fittings, so i'll guess i'll be running around this weekend.
