does anyone have a PVC male reducer 1x3/4?

need this to connect overflow box to wet dry trickly:
PVC male reducing adapter 1"x3/4"

been to 2 hardware stores and home depot; noone has it. could buy it online but shipping cost is ridiculous. any ideas?

I have a bunch that are slip x slip you can get them a lowes in brooklyn usually.

But why are you restricting your overflow?

sorry for a late reply (was out of town).. what does slip & slip mean? I'm not trying to restrict the overflow but am planning to replace my existing overflow (Marineland SOS overflow box with 1 1/4" tube connection) with one from LifeReef (with 1 " tube connection)...

try a different home depot or lowes....i just bought a 1"x1/2" and 1"x3/4 reducing coupling at HD....there are certain home depot that wont have it because they are stupid with restocking pvc fittings...sometimes you dont look at the boxes...but look inside all thier boxes because its all mixed up and scattered.

hey guys - am somewhat surprised by how rude some of you are! As I wrote in my initial message I've been to Home Depot (59th street) and 2 hardware stores who all don't have it and can not order it. So far none of you has been helpful telling me where exactly I could get it. Would be happy if anyone could let me know where in Manhattan I can buy this thing and pls be so kind and keep your rude comments to yourselves. first bad experience on MR I'd say.

if your are in chinatown then goto forsyth st. and grand st....theres a plumbing store called AJ plumbing..they will have it.

I will have to go through all my goodies, but I think I have thread X thread and slip X slip.

That must have been a special fitting. The one I thought you were talking about is called a bushing. Normally the outside is slip, the inside threaded. However, they do have slip/slip at Home Depot as well.

It's tough to find those sometimes because people don't put them back in the right cubbies.

pvc not really used in manhattan thats why HD does not have it try any HD in another borough
