Is 1800gph too much flow for a 55?

I currently have a Koralia 2 and Maxijet 900 in my 55g for 830gph of flow.

It's currently only an LPS/Softies tank also with a little green carpet anemone but with my new lights I'm going to be adding some SPS.

Thinking of putting in a Koralia 3 instead of the maxijet. Is 1800gph too much?

wow...so the consensus i pretty resounding then. I wish I'd had this advice when I started - would've saved money. In the "New Marine Aquarium" Paletta suggest 4-5 times the gallons to determine flow --- hahaha. I believed it
