Aqua C remora pro or a Red Sea Berlin Hang-on Skimmer?

I currently have an Aqua C remora pro skimmer on my 36 reef and Its producing decent skim but very thin and watery. Today I got a redsea berlin hang on skimmer from a MR member, I added an air pump to the airline and its skimming like crazy! I was gonna use it on my Quarentine tank but know Im wondering if I should use this on my tank instead or the aqua c Pro, any thoughts?

berlin is by far the worst skimmer i've ever owned, it will eventually stop working

i think u would be better off with the remora. i made the tubing smaller where the maxijet connects to the skimmer and lowered the cup down all the way im actually getting really good skimmate...

Tony, I have the pro and It came with a mag 3 pump, would a mod like that still apply

And as for the cup, I will try and lower it. I had it high in an attempt to get some more solid skimmate, because mine reminds me alot of my coralife skimmer and its just slightly dirty water, whereas my das x 2 skimmer produces pure mud
