Ok - so my flow now sux! Had the nylon filter bags of my PHs (1 Koralia 2, 1 Koralia 4) since yesterday and the flow seems almost non-existent. Is there another way to screen these. I'm not so concerned about my little green carpet as it's been in the same place for a month, but I introduced a small RBTA not long ago and I know they like to move. But - I don't wanna sacrifice my flow so much!!!

i have a Ritteri anemone in my tank with 2 K2s, one is pretty close to the anemone too and I have not had any problems. The slots in the K2s are not that big so i don't think his tentacles would fit (or BTA's tentacles either) the K4 on the other hand I am not so sure about, could try some netting if you can find any or you could cut up one of your fish nets and put it around the K4.

Thanks Mongoose --- I tried putting a nylon filter bag the aroudn the entire powerhead and it really cut down on flow!!! ALOT!! I might try just putting it aroudn the slotted sides and see how that goes.

BTW, how long have you had the ritteri for? How is it going? I would like to get one but head they're difficult to keep

haha...i hope mine is not that dumb. The carpet's been in the same place the whole time thankfully. It's the BTA - only had it a day and it's moving quite a bit

mine has been fantastic, I have had him for about 7 months or so, he wondered around quite a bit when I first got him but he has settled down now and stays pretty much in the same 6 inch diameter area. He eats pretty much anything I give him and my pair of percs almost never leave him. All and all he has been great but I think I just got lucky and got a really good one, I know a lot of people have had a tough time keeping them.

I got it from a place called Jawz in Elmsford in westchester county, his base is about 3 inches in diameter and he opens up to about 8 inches in diameter maybe a little bit more.

Well, so far it has been a mover, though not anywhere near powerheads. Has been in tank less than 24hrs though so I think it needs a little more time just to settle in.

dane..
i think you could leave the koralia's uncovered...the rbta should only move around on the rock...I dont think it will just detach from the rock and float...ive been told they only do that when there is to much flow...but im not sure about that, just what ive been told
