What is this? Mysterious snail tracks?

I saw one of my nassarius snails leaving these skid marks on the walls of my tank - anyone know what this is? Snail eggs, or what? And if they are snail eggs, any chance of them hatching before they are eaten. TIA.

nassarius eggs, in about 2 weeks you'll start seeing small white snails running around the glass walls.
