Can we have a Fresh Water Forum too?

Can we have a Fresh Water Forum for those who have both SW and FW.

This seems to be helpful for us minority SW/FW guys/gals-we don't have to log into two different sites

But nudibar is mostly 99.9% nudi stuff. Finding the FW stuff is almost impossible, well may be for me a search engine illiterate. I am not like Deanos.

I have no problem having a FW forum. other reef sites have a place for FW peeps to chat in. the nudibar is a lame compromise imo.

The Nudibar was never intended to be a compromise for a FW forum. :smash:

As a matter of opinion, this thread is :topic: and should be :moved: to the aforementioned Nudibar. :grumpy:

haha it could be moved to the nudibar.

but the nudibar has become the "FW" place, so by default it's a compromise whether intended or not. we need a bunch of new forums anyway, throwing a FW one in the mix is not a big deal.

That is only because a select group is ADDICTED to the game. It is a game isn't it? lol

I like the idea of having a FW Forum..we are fish people after all...and many of us have both kinds of tanks..and maybe a pond...

I vote yes, I have had freshwater for years and just started to do saltwater last month (thats how I found the site) I now have a mixed parrotfish tank, and am setting up a 75g saltwater tank.

Maybe I should mention what I have FW wise...My Oscar tank (I LOVE these 2, had 'em for years!), an angelfish tank, a SA Cichlid tank, a tetra tank. Recently got Guppy disease and it wiped the tank out after it had run for about 4 years with no issues. Condisering changing it over to Africans.
Oh, and a 1800g+ pond. Maybe tonight I'll put up a thread of the construction of it.

if a cod4 forum makes you happy then go for it. as long as it does not show up mixed in with the fish info.

maybe there should be a section like the nudibar that contains a bunch of OT forums.
maybe that section could contain the nudibar?. I always felt the nudibar takes up valuable space on the front page. I'd rather see it as a spot for OT forums to display the latest threads.

Kathy - Sounds neat. Any pictures ? I'd love to see the build thread. I was thinking of making a small goldfish pond in the spring but with the baby and all I think its more prudent to wait.
