1000 watt pendant question

I have 3 of these over an large aquarium. I have been having trouble with the units sometime with the ballast sometimes with the bulbs. Want to change over to Ushio bulbs the problem is the I need new Ballast to fire up the bulbs.

wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with 1000w pendants and/or could suggest a quality ballast that can fire up the Ushio (or other German) bulbs.
