First off Happy Easter to all who celebrate. I am having a big headache trying to figure out my flow.
I have a 75 gallon which had 2 # 3 poweheads I thought was great I was told on another forum Reef central there was no way enough flow So I went out and got myself a #4 now After buying my first coral yesterday TORCH it is supposed to have moderate flow anyplac I place this thing it is blowing like crazy ANYPLACE I have the #4 facing the surface for movement since I am having a sump built and using a canister.
anyway I have the 2 # 3 onthe sides faces the center glass as majority says if I turnthe powerheads the slightest bit down It blows away my sand . I am told to have some movement on the sand but it makes holes?
I know it is a keep playing around kind of thing but man is their a secret I have been trying for months and never realized hwo much all over flow there is until adding this coral but I also knwo I have to face them at
the sand but anywhere near down is a sandune?
any suggestions I am thinking of putting both powerheads on the back glass and face the front glass.
