Unfortunately, I think they will follow suit with the other LED manufacturers and charge 2500 for a 48". :frown:

Correct me if they have new prices, I think an I4 from Solaris
48" is generally $3200
36" is generally $2300

If they make this light generating the sun wavelengths and use for mostly street light, I think they will be < $1000 for a 400Mh equivalent in order to complete in that market. Look at the MH bulb NOT made for reef-a 400W bulb is only $20 vs one made for reef is like $100

One word...GREED. Lookin to get that "mid-life crisis" Ferrari with that 500% infalted price. That's it. I'm makin an opening in my roof with mirrors strategically placed to illuminate my tank with "natural" sunlight.

in a way its cheaper.....if it will intake alot less wattage draw than a regular 400w MH and less heat....saving cost on energy bills....the guys with big tanks will benefit from this.....but thats just a guess....doubt anyone will know how this technology will proceed at the moment....wingo looks like he might be keeping up with this type of lighting....
