Saltwater Hobby and Stocks

Hello everyone....I'm doing a stock project for school and I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any stocks that have to do with the saltwater hobby, like companies that distribute or produce products for the hobby. Please let me know. Thanks !

If the project grade is based on "profits" then I wouldnt buy any stock involved in saltwater fish aquariums. They are not going to increase in value(unless one of them creates some ground breaking technology).....I would look at oil companyes...valero(VLO), exxon(xom), CHESAPEAKE ENERGY(chk)....oil has a tremendous upside right now, and you might very well destroy everyone else in the class(or you might breakeven), highly unlikely you will lose money. Thats my opinion as of whats going on now around the globe

Thanks for the suggestion rookie07, but the grade doesnt have to do with profits at all. You have to state the reason why you bought the stock and I love this hobby so I was trying to incorporate it into my project.

LeslieS, do you know the stock symbol to that company by any chance?

Oo ok, thanks. I think I'm going to really invest in a company called Marine Exploration Inc. it's cheap now but I feel like it'll grow in the future

Coca Cola - never missed a dividend since they started giving them out, even during the Depression.
