hi Bruce,

get an auto top off and a controller to let you monitor the tank and there should be no problems leaving it alone. you'll have to stock the fish wisely, no picky eaters. pellets in a auto feeder would be best. and make sure you have a good chiller.
aquatronica makes a controller with an ethernet & sms module that will email & txt you if there is an alarm.

Sorry to hear that Bruce :(
What Jon said is great advice..a good sized ATO will help and a chiller will help reduce evaporation. Those controllers that send all of your readings to your computer will help you monitor it, but having someone nearby with a key in case of uh-ohs would be great too!
Stock lightly :)

Hi Bruce :)

Kathy's comment to stock fish lightly is a good one. I cannot remember who it was, but someone on here had a big tank with only a few fish and didn't feed at all. He had enough pods for the fish to feed themselves.

Let me know if you want any toadstool leather or mushrooms. I have tons!!!!
