I want to find a good coral to host my clownfish. Don't to get an anemone as they require a lot of maintenance and care, and I'm not up to the task yet.

Any suggestions on what type of coral is a good host for a clownfish?

Mine used to host my overflow box...untill i forced him into an anemone then he took to the frogspawn...just make sure whatever coral you want it to host is bigger than the fish..like 2 or 3 times bigger

It took over a year for my false percula to host my anenome. I have two clowns maroon and false. they get a long fine. But now the maroon saw my false in the anenome and he kicked him out. Now the maroon is hosting and my false host my powerhead.

just be warned that not all corals like or want to be hosted by clowns. They can be pretty brutal with what they host and this can kill or damage some corals with pointy skeletons like on euphylia (frogspawn, hammer, torch) or even cause tissue erosion on others
