Did I fry my tank?

Hey guys,

I think I may have fried my tank. One of the plugs for the moonlight on my sunpod dislodged when I moved the light fixture foward and fell into the water. I didn't notice it until 20 minutes later when I walked by the tank and saw everything was retracted and then saw the plug laying in the water.

Am I effed? What should be my next step?

If it was LED lights it would have blown the transformer and unlikely on for that long of a period of time. So it is very likely that they didn't get much of a blast. Hopefully all will be okay. Does the light still work?

Also if it was 110volts it should have tripped the breaker. Good idea to install a GFI breaker or outlet.

Steven like pinky said probably not much of a blast. I would wait and see tomorrow what everything looks like for right now.

you should have a ground probe in the tank

I do have a titanium ground probe. Fish seem unaffected.

I'd run a poly pad for a few days incase anything bad got in the water.
