I Have This Hooked Up To 3 36" Bulbs And My Ac Jr Turns It On And Off But Doesnt Always Seem To Ignite It, Does A First Pulse Like It Wants To Turn On Then Nothing, Have It Connected Through The Regular 8 For The Ac Jr, Maybe I Need The Heavy Duty One. Any Idea's ? Oh Once It Is Fired And Up And Running It Is Fine

I had the same thing happen, I contacted Chris at Icecap and he sai it was the power supply and it needed to be rebuilt, i sent it to them and they sent it back in a day works like brand new now.

it's on t5's and worked for 3 days then poof, took hood off nd checked for loose wire's ect, tried using a regular outlet also 1 bulbs blinks then nothing, sux cause i just redid my whole canopy to do this and hate to have to splice wires again to hook other ballast back up in the mean time

start with plug lights in a regular outlet, try different lamps then check wireing it work for 3 days chould have lamp wires cross

tried different outlet, tried different bulbs { gt a mini co;;ection of t5's } gonna take and rewire and try different end caps. worse case rehook old stuff and send it to ice cap

I know its wiring, this was my ballast 5 days ago. Maybe I'm just lucky and NYreefNoob isn't. LOL

if you made all the correct connections, either you are trying to support to much lighting or you have a defective ballast.....call icecap and get directed to technical support and tell the tech man whats happening if he cant help you to get it working you should just send it in and have it checked out by them its free if still under warranty...u get it back in a day or 2 and you will save more time than trying to get help on here
