As some of you may know, we are moving to the Pocono?s on May 10th in a few weeks.

Currently, I have a 24G Aquapod (modded) with a sump. My tank is stock with live rock, live sand & Corals.
Fish: Paired True Perculas, Blue Flasher Wrasse, Paired Harlequin Shrimps, Green Clown Goby and, Yasha Hase Shrimp Goby w/ Pistol shrimp.

Transporting from the Bronx, NY 10462 to Tobyhanna, PA 18466
103.70 miles approximately 2 hrs 3 min.

Appreciate your suggestion on what will I need, or how I should go about breaking down and transporting my entire system to PA, and setup.

Thank you

I moved my 50g + sump from MA to NY last summer. Its not fun, but not too bad all in all. here are some helpful hints:
1) Have top off and salt water mixed and heated at your destination.
2) Have the spot for the tank ready at destination.
3) Keep everything submerged in 5 gallon buckets or larger tubs with airpumps and monitor the temp as you drive. Should minimize any type of cycle once you set it up again.
4) If you have a sandbed and wish to keep it, just leave a 1/4" or so of water on top of the sand during the trip and leave it in the tank.

This worked for me, no cycle, no losses at all :)

grundig5 has hit it on the head, however if that is not possible:

have a rubbermaid tub setup at arrival location or tank if possible with water, therm. and heater.
package all your live stock and place in a cooler with some heat packs. live rock in buckets with water and the tank can be placed on a piece of plywood and wrapped with bubble wrap, keep sand and 1" of water in tank. once at your location setup as normal. this would be like a water change for your tank.
