AquaClear 70: Trouble starting up

So these powerheads, apparently, are notorious for not starting up properly after an interruption (loss of power, wave maker, initial start up)

any suggestions on how to make this more reliable? I use it in a non critical situation (surge device) but its just annoying.

I found that that AC70 is most reliable as a paper weight

i never had troulble with the aquaclears not starting up...
but if thats the case you should invest in some koralias or tunze
