RicK, that is the uber rare Cirrhilabrus cf. lanceolatus ( minus his lower jaw= why he is mine and not some rich guys). It is actually still undescribed.

Maybe that's why it is still undescribed. Maybe he's a whole species and is supposed to look that way

That's a Vermiculate Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon bipartitus). This is a female that I believe is about half transitioned to male. Leopard wrasses in general are finicky and difficult to care for. They require a sand bed and often refuse to eat. In the recent past, success with them was practically unheard of. In the past few years, something has clearly changed ( collection and or/shipping and handling, better foods available?) and a much higher percentage of them are thriving. Still, not a begginer fish by any means.

I'm not sure I understand the question???? If you mean do they eat the AEFW's the answer is no unless they are water borne (ie blown off the coral), but in that case pretty much any fish will eat them.
