Hi,

I have read many DIY stands but I do not have time to build one myseld. I am looking for a custom stand for my 140g tank (48x24x30). Is there any local stores where I can go for a custom stand. Thanks in advance.

you should contact Jhale, he is a MR moderator, he builds custom furniture, stand and canopy for people. He should be able to build you a awsome stand. Today i just came back assisting him, while he built stingNYC's stand. It was freaken awsome. nice design too. give Jhale a PM

Jude does excelent work. If you have an idea of what you want built come by and you can either talk to me or Jude for a quote.

I got mine done at aquariums for you. Excellent work (both tank and stand). #1 recommendation to anyone, have a pan built into the bottom to catch and 'free' water. This has saved me several major disasters.

Sean - those tanks are really beautiful. I especially like the one that separates the guestroom from the living area. If I ever buy a place in Manhattan I'd want something similar. Also, I'm very surprised to see a Sea Apple in that office tank.....how do you keep something like that from dying and killing all?

Thanks Missy

as far as the sea apples I just leave them alone as long as you keep the tank consistant and avoid fish that may want to pick on them you shouldn't run into many problems.
