Elos Phosphate Test

Hi,

Is part B of the Elos Phosphate test supposed to be the viscosity of cool honey? Also the stopper for the top of the vial is too loose and when I shake the solution it sprays all over the place.

Yes part B is supposed to be super viscous. There might be a problem with your lid some of them do leak a little out but most are fine.

I saved you the call (I needed to speak to him about my cunductivity meter) ..... He says that the chemical reaction between the reagent and the phosphate causes a little bit of gas to build up and that is what is pushing the stopper. you don't really even need the stopper, you can just gently swish the vial to activate and there is no real need to shake it vigorously.
