The Raffle Wrap Up

That was fun!

I finally emptied out my car tonight to learn who had won the 3 unclamied prizes...so I need to announce who those folks are and what they won..but I'll get to that in a sec....

First I have to get out my thank you list
The Raffle would never have happened without the help of the great folks listed below...

..my buddy Phil (Devious)..Smokin!!...I'd stand in a puddle next to you anytime :cheekkiss..and he's my new anchor boy! ..awesome!!

To the members who donated prizes & corals to the Raffle....to the manufacturers who were so generous....to our Vendors who went above & beyond..everyone of them that attended donated MORE than one item and many gave even MORE by getting their suppliers involved - way to go MR Vendors!! Jim/Russ..how are you going to top that Vortech next time around??? lol
I have to give a special thanks to LFSmarineguy (Jared) -talk about stepping up!!
To the guys who loaded all my stuff (and many of the vendors) in & out - you know who you are and I am forever grateful for all the extra hands..it wouldn't have happened without you!!

One last thank you - to YOU the members for buying all of those Raffle tickets and making the MR Spring 2008 Raffle a truly GREAT Event!! Hope you had a good time, I certainly did! :bunny:

The winners who'd left prior to the drawing...and followed the instructions and wrote their name & number on the back of the tickets...

How could any of this have happened without Kathy. It's one thing to hand over a door prize, raffle submission, auction donation, etc. Then it's another thing to coordinate and make it all happen.

Kathy, all the rest of us had it easy. THANK YOU for taking so much time out of your life to make it run flawlessly and so successfully.

I know I had a great time.

Anytime Kathy!!! The event was a great success. BTW, Don was also helping the whole time. He was selling raffles and helping out where ever someone needed him....he left just in time for cleanup though...:irked:
