Busted Tunze 6045

All,

My tunze 6045 start to make some rattling noise, so inquiring minds wanted to know why. Well it appears that the metal rod that holds the impeller in place snapped off. Does anybody know if this repairable? Or SOL.

you can buy a new impeller or if your still under warrenty contact tunze in their forum at reefcentral

I think its because you have it on a wave maker turning it on and off a billion times

I'm not sure if an impeller is going to do it. The metal pole broke off from inside the unit. Don't know how I would change it out.

Ming, I only had the wave maker on for 2 days, and then took it off. But your probably right, it probably contributed to its early demise.
