So this is the first time really that i have had the chance to witness a coraline explosion in one of my tanks!! :birthday:
Funny thing is instead of it being on the walls its all over my equipment ...
It started on the rocks (of course) from the colors of green, purple, some small specs of turquoise and red (no not cyano lol)
And now on my koralia's and skimmer pump/filter I am getting like a bright neon orange its wild ... (its like the exact color of those paid stickers you get in a department store when they cant bag it and you have to walk out with the product itself lol -
So whats the significance? I know calcium helps, but what other elements determine coloring?
I can relate it to planting in the garden i recently learned that depending on the acidity of the soil Hydrangea Flowers may turn out to be Pink or Blue ...
Here is a pic of what I am talking about, you can see the orange, the white spots near it is actually purple coraline just my cam kinda lacks the clarity :irked:.. this new coloring has just come out in the past 24/hrs
