PODS dont eat zoas unless there is dead flesh on them. here is my take on whats happening you have hydroids, they are stinging the zoas killing areas of flesh the pods are scavaning the dead flesh. kill the hydroids the pods eating the necrotic tissue will help the zoa recover. :irked:

People NEED to stop giving advice if they don't know what they're SAYING! Recommending someone get a mandarin, without knowing nothing more than they have a significant pod population isn't something you should do.

The tank could just be young and experiencing a pod population boom that will correct itself in time.

It's understandable that everyone wants to help, but sometimes trying to help only leads to more troubles.

Don't get mandarin or a scooter blenny for that matter. If they're eating your zoas, chances are they're dying.

Hate to be the one that sounds "serious", it's not my style, but its ridiculous to give advice without a single piece of info. on the system.
