My Nano is doing so well at this point I wanted to introduce my third and final fish. Problem is I am having a heck of a time choosing the best mate for the others ....

I have a nice plump tru perc, and a equally nice three strip damsel .. Now I know what your thinking the aggressiveness of the damsel ... well no worries everything is docile in this tank! ...

My contenders are as follows:

1. Blackcap Basslet
2. Another Clown
3. Blenny
4. Sixline
5. HawkFish
6. Fairy Wrasse

Anyone have any other ideas??
Tank is a 20g Nano, tons of corals, LR/LS and all the goodies equip wise ...

blackcap- out
another clown doable
blenny- pending what kind
hawk- if you have no shrimp
sixline-everyone hates
fair wrasse- ask around i guess never owned one

my idea would be to get rid of the damsel get yourself something like a firefish and look into other nano fish

Go with an ORA canary blenny, I got one from saltwaterfish.com and I believe are vendors carry the ORA, tank raised ones. Their colorful, good personality and always visible riding the current.

Just my suggestion

I knew most would say toss the damsel but to be honest and assuming the nest fish is the same size or larger i would prefer to keep it, the personality is amazing, and is like a dive bomber when the food arrives ..... gets along with the somewhat larger perc very well ...

The ora blenny sounds good, wasn't to keen on the sixline, I used to have a blackcap loved the colors ... as of now do not have any shrimp but that may change (thinking of a cleaner) ...as for the fairy just threw that out there because the coloring is wild ...

I'll keep pondering ... keep the suggestions going! :birthday:

Hey Reef was in Howard Beach Sat afternoon with the GF went to the Petco over there... love the area especially when its nice out!
