I found this starfish on a peace of live rock i got. I've seen that some starfish are harmful to zoa's. Is this one harmful to them? If he is ill get rid of him if not he will go back in the tank.

The one you show looks exactly like the ones I have in my tank, they are inofensive and good glass cleaners...no problems with shrooms, polyps, leather...

put them in my tank to feed the harlequin shrimps. They are harmless. I've had them for over 3 years now. They do multiply quickly.

harmless i have them as well and if you dont want yours sure other's will take them for you

Have a few in my tank also. Have not seen them cause any problems with my corals.
