Lifereef 240 trickle filter question

I just bought a Lifereef 240 trickle filter and it doesn't have any setup instructions with it. Can any one help me. I went to the site and there isn't any instructions there either. Just a picture of the pump

Do a google search for trickle filter or wet/dry as they are also known and a thousand things come up explaining how they work. Next do a search here, on wetwebmedia.com or any other reefing site on the pros but mostly cons of a wet dry/trickle filter in a reef aquarium. It looks a good start that can easily be modified to work as a traditional sump though
