2x150 HQI w/ 2x65 watt PCs

Does anyone think a light such as this (2x150 HQI w/ 2x65 watt actinic PCs) will be overkill for a 40 gallon breeder with SPS, anemone, etc...? Otherwise I'm looking at a 1x250 HQI with 2x65 watt PCs. I won't be using a chiller, I keep my apartment very cold

I just wonder if I'll get enough coverage from one MH bulb at center. The edges of my tank might not get enough light.

Any opinions? I've been thinking about this for so long it's driving me crazy, I just want to make the right purchase already. originally I was leaning toward T-5s but I've never had an MH before and really want that shimmer effect.

I think it would work good. I have one 150w w/2pc on a 29g cube and I think it works well. You are going to love the shimmer.

Sounds ok to me....BUT IM A ROOKIE....I have 250w on a 34 gl 20" cube

no one mh isnt going to give enough coverage on a 40g breeder, the 2 150's will be nice
