How Often Do I Trim My Cheato?

how do i know when to trim, with what , and how ? this is my first time dealing with cheato in the sump and how do i know its healthy

you trim the cheato when it starts filling up ur sump, its good to let it grow nicely then cut it so it has ample room to grow bac in...

lol squared dimensions dont help me... let just say once ur cheato is getting to close to the edges (within a half inch) u need to cut about 40% off IMO. ur in BK are u coming to the NACL sale today?

Basically what happens is that it'll leech nutrients back into the tank when it's too big.Make them like small baseball ball sizes so it'll suck in more nutrients more effectively.
