holes in 3/16'' glass

I have a 29 gal tank. It is almost 19" high and only has glass that is 3/16" thick. I would like to trill some holes but am not sure it is wise with such thin glass. Even if it does not brake now, am I asking for problems in the long run?

ive had many tanks drilled and pieces of glass so far no problems..

you just have to clean out the tank very well they use antifreeze when they drill a hole at least thats what my glass guy does
