right now im very tempted to switch my SE to DE. DE seems to have the better choice of bulbs. 175/150 aro ballast supports both SE175 or 150DE. the 150DE has the Phoenix 14K bulb. the output is only 37PPFD i dont know if that is gonna cut it for my 20 gallon, but sure as hell the color is alot nicer then any other SE bulb. on the SE side it's the aqualine 10(13K) which seems pretty good, i heard they go yellow if the ballast overdrives them, but they output like 50-60PPFD. Which one do you guys think i should go? it's gonna be pain in the neck to go DE; gotta mount those DE brackets to my hellolight reflector and get UV glass as well. welp guys give me some good advice. I'll sure need it thanks.

Dave, I have a 150w DE on my 20. And the bulb is 14k.
you've seen it, and you're welcome to come over and check it out again (you can pick up your filter bags and cyclo!) I also have my old 20 k bulb I could swap out and you could see the difference. Let me know.
