Beckett skimmer

I have finally decided that i need to get serious about skimming my tank and have decided to go with the biggest downdraft skimmer i can fit in the basement.
Having had a reasonable amount of success in the past with DIY projects i have decided to build it myself.
My question to you all is this : Where can you get a beckett foam head, and what size pump do you need to power it? Anyone out there have any advice?
