how to position the fan

for those like me are using fans to cool off the tank, I would like to know how you position your fans.

Basically i just aim it on the section of the sump that houses the skimmer because thats the main source of the heat.

The best way..

Yeah it evaporates more, but it cools the tank the best.. I aim my fan straight down..

I Point it right at the tank being that I have a nano

I point fan blowing across top of the tank. Results in increased evaporation but definitely reduced temperature.

which fan ? i have 2 comp fans in canopy pulling heat out, one on the end blowing across water and one larger fan under stand right behind chiller pulling exhuast out
